Chris Ryan Chris Ryan attended school and played sport in and around the Fairfield area. During his school years he was fortunate to be amongst children from other countries which enriched his adolescence.

... the ethnic mix was more Italian, Yugoslav, Polish and generally Eastern Europe. Various parts of the old USSR, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, German, which all seemed pretty exotic to me as a little boy.
