Jack McBurney

Jack McBurney is a well known resident and identity of the Fairfield area. He recalls some of his memories of growing up in the district and the changes that have occured.

And another one that occasionally we would go to was called Pats. I don't know why, but that was on Orphan School Creek near where the. I think there is an oval called The Endeavour Oval today and there was a swimming hole there in Orphan School Creek where we would go sometimes to swim and we called it Pats. Perhaps it was because on the other side of the creek were Chinese gardens where that oval is today.
