Arthur Packer

Arthur Packer and his parents were originally from England. They migrated to Australia in 1913 when Arthur was only 3 months old. He grew up in Fairfiled and also worked at "Cockies" biscuit factory.

There was Miss Cash. She taught the infants and she had been teaching years and years. I believe she came from America or Canada I can’t remember and she had been teaching for years and, come the finish it was said, they said she had taught their grandmothers you know she had been at the one school for that long.
