Yvonne Clayton

Yvonne Clayton was born in Leeton. As a child she became one of the stolen generation when taken to a girls home in Cootamundra. She has been a resident of Fairfield for over 25 years.

Yvonne Clayton: We’ve got Cambodian, ah, Vietnamese, my neighbours on this, I love her, she’s — her name’s Louise — she’s Vietnamese and her daughter, her oldest daughter’s name is Vi, and then her son is called Kevin and the little girl’s name is Naomi, and they’re Vietnamese and they’re really good neighbours and on the other side she’s not Vietnamese, she’s…

Shirley McLeod: Laotian or Cambodian?

Yvonne Clayton: A different one, where they’re not the same, you know.
